Strange psychological horror tale about a child
psychotherapist who must enter the mind of a comatose serial killer in order to discover where he has hidden his latest victim.
The story is nonsense and the acting performances are all
rather average, but where the film excels is in its unique visual style which is quite unlike any other film which follows a similar plot route.
Jennifer Lopez is completely miscast in the lead, but
doesn't do a terrible job despite this. The film received an Academy Award nomination for its achievement in the makeup category.
