The craft and execution to bring this semi-classic of British
film to the screen may feel incredibly dated by modern standards, but Ray Harryheusen's stop-motion special effects must be considered a milestone in visual effects magic.
The story itself, based on Greek mythology, sees Jason, aided
by the Gods, on a quest to find the Golden Fleece, fighting an array of beasts and monsters along the way.
Many liberties have been taken with the original fables, such
as the addition of the skeleton fight, but the film simply wouldn't have been the same without them.
