A strange comic-book style adventure which probably worked
better on paper than it does on film.
Fred Ward plays an NYPD cop enlisted by the CIA to become
a martial arts expert and infiltrate the gang of an international arts dealer.
This action film is incredibly light on action, with only
a few set pieces to get the pulses racing. Its finest moments come from the scene-stealing Joel Grey, virtually unrecognisable underneath heavy oriental-style makeup.
