An underrated showbiz satire which didn't quite find an
audience during its theatrical run. It's a shame, because it was an incredibly unique and interesting film which arguably deserved an Oscar nomination for the screenplay.
Al Pacino plays a film director struggling to find the
perfect leading lady for his upcoming film project, so he does the next best thing. He creates one.
This modern day spin on Frankenstein for a digital age
possibly suffers from coming out a few years earlier than it should have and probably would have caused more of a stir after the upsurge of social media sites like Twitter and the dawn of
internet celebrities later on in the decade.
