Probably the best example of why films based on video
games are a terrible idea.
The lack of plot, which throws together the characters
from the video game to defeat a dictatorial leader.
Even for teenage boys, this is pretty bad. The
performances are all miscast, the screenplay feels like it was hastily scribbled on the morning of shooting and even the fight choreography feels rushed together and uninspiring. It would be
much more fun watching a friend playing the video game instead.
